Venue which includes the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool was named Best UK Conference Centre at the M & IT Industry Awards

ACC Liverpool has won Best UK Conference Centre at an industry awards for the sixth consecutive year.

The venue was named Best UK Conference Centre at the M & IT Industry Awards, hosted by magazine Meetings and Incentive Travel. 

The ceremony, held at Battersea Evolution, London, celebrates the best international venues, destinations and suppliers in the events industry, as voted for by meeting professionals.

Ben Williams, commercial director of the ACC Liverpool Group – home to the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool – said: “We are honoured to have retained this award, considered the most prestigious in the events industry, for the sixth year running.

“The award reflects not only the product and services of the venue but is also representative of the city’s support network that enables us to bid for and attract global events to experience Liverpool as a world-class meeting and event destination.

“As we continue our journey into 2018 and build on the foundations of the past decade, this award is the icing on our 10th birthday cake as our clients, friends and colleagues have voted ACC Liverpool as top of the class once again.”
