Weightmans create six new Liverpool partners
Liverpool law firm Weightmans creates six new partners in Liverpool and 15 across the UK
Six new partners have been catered at the Liverpool headquarters of law firm Weightmans.
In total there are 15 new partners at the firm across its UK offices. It brings the firm’s total number of partners to 248, including equity. Weightmans has also promoted 12 people to legal director nationally.
Its new Liverpool partners are: Ann-Marie Mercer, business services (data); Ben Davies, litigation; John Darnell, litigation; Rachael Fawcett, casualty; Richard Burrows, disease; Sam Harland, healthcare.
Of the 15 promoted, eight are female (53%). The firm had a target of having at least 40% female partners by 2025, but has already exceeded this (41%), and now has a new long-term aim of achieving a 50/50 split by 2030.
