Wellbeing entrepreneur opens organic produce stall at Liverpool’s St John’s Market

Naturopathic nutritionist Matt Murphy launches new venture at refurbished market following the success of his online business – Feel Supreme. Tony McDonough reports.

Stalls at St John’s Market in Liverpool are not usually associated with health and wellbeing – but entrepreneur Matt Murphy is looking to change that.

Since 2013 the qualified naturopathic nutritionist has run his own web-based business – Feel Supreme – which sells products such as hemp oil, organic coconut oil, herbal teas, freeze-dried fruits among others.

Now Matt has opened a stall at the newly-refurbished and re-opened St John’s Market in Liverpool city centre and hopes to replicate the success of the site.

The stall stocks a variety of of organic fruit and vegetables, along with organic coconut oil, CBD oil, propolis, spring water in plastic free, organic plant-based bottles, freeze dried fruits coated in chocolate and herbal teas for new mums and babies.

Matt told YBNews: “My background as a naturopathic nutritionist leads me to believe in the quality of natural foods.

“For the past couple of years, we’ve been establishing a reputation in the city and further afield as a company which supplies only the very highest grade food, based products at affordable price, and I believe that the Feel Supreme organic fruit and veg store is in keeping with our vision.”

Matt originally set up Feel Supreme purely as an avenue of sharing information via social media with like-minded individuals whilst embarking on his studies.

As the number of followers grew, the next step was to source a high quality superfoods to complement the nutritional advice offered by the company.

He added: “We also adopt an ethical approach and only source our products from sustainable sources which give back to the local communities.

“It is with this approach that ourselves and our suppliers are registered, licensed and certified by the Fairtrade Foundation.”
