Work begins on final phase of Norris Green Village
The final stage of the development will offer 69 two, three and four bedroom homes for rent with all of the earlier phase properties now almost fully let to tenants.
Homes for rent provider DifRent Private Rental has started work on the final phase of its Norris Green Village development in Liverpool.
Located close to the outskirts of the city, Norris Green Village is a scheme that will comprise 221 family homes.
The final stage of the development will offer 69 two, three and four bedroom homes for rent. The scheme has already proved popular with all of the earlier phase properties now almost fully let.
Construction work on the final phase is now well under way with some homes already built. Final completion is due in March next year.
There will be 13 two-bedroom houses, 52 three-bedroom and four four-bedroom properties.
Currently available to reserve, the new homes start from £600 per month to rent.
The homes were built for DifRent by developer Countryside.
Norris Green, which has long been one of Liverpool’s most deprived areas, has undergone a significant transformation in recent years. Many of its old sub-standard homes have now been demolished.
Norris Green Village is adjacent to Monksdown Primary School.
Daniel Hollingworth, regional property manager at DifRent, said: “We’ve seen a great demand for private homes for rent in this area and we firmly believe this next phase will continue to gain the same high levels of interest.
“These high quality family homes at affordable prices will be a huge asset to the area.”
