£1m lot up for sale in Sutton Kersh’s biggest auction of the year
Liverpool estate agents Sutton Kersh are getting set for their biggest auction of the year so far, with a £1m development opportunity on Croxteth Road amongst the lots. Andrew Wright reports.
The three, four-storey buildings site is part of 147 lots up for sale at Sutton Kersh’s July auction.
The buildings were previously used as a 54-bedroomed nursing home, and include a large car park and landscape gardens.
The site is billed as having the potential to be re-developed into student accommodation, self-contained flats or as three individual houses.
There is also the chance of building new properties within the grounds, subject to planning permissions.
Cathy Holt, associate director at Sutton Kersh, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for a big scale development in a popular part of Liverpool.
‘There is also a good variety of vacant houses ranging from £25,000 and upwards.’
Other properties for sale at the auction include:
-Lot 63 – A two-storey plus basement property in Tuebrook, Liverpool with a guide price of £160,000.
-Lot 127 – Located on Rice Lane, Liverpool, the property has been converted into four self-contained flats, all with off road parking. The property has a guide price of £100,000-£120,000.
-Lot 139 – A three bedroom, semi-detached property in Thornton, Liverpool. In need of modernisation the property has a guide price of £150,000.
Sutton Kersh’s next auction will be held on July 12 at The Crowne Plaza, Liverpool.
