Mando release first stage of new Robinsons Brewery digital platform

Mando Group have released the first part of the re-development of the Robinsons Brewery website.

The first phase is an early release of a stand-alone microsite for one of the brewer’s pubs, the Bulls Head in Hale Barns.

The new microsite was perfectly timed to coincide with the opening of the pub, which has been closed since July for refurbishment. It now features a cutting edge, premium design that retains the Bulls Head’s reputation as a quality pub. The pub has seen a significant investment made into the refurbishment and required a website to match, which also brought the new Robinsons brand to life online.

One of Mando and Robinsons’ focus for the new digital platform, built in Sitecore, is to take advantage of the CMS’ re-use capability, providing licensees with a clean and modern microsite which represents the pubs’ identity online.

These microsites are intended to provide greater visibility in search engines and integrate with a room booking engine to capitalise on the increasing trend in business travellers looking for memorable accommodation. All of this is intended to drive revenue for Robinsons and their licensees.

Mando is continuing work on the main Robinsons corporate website, the Visitor Centre brewery experience and the other 300+ pub microsites, which will be launched later in the year, ready for the pre-Christmas rush.

Speaking about the project, Daniella Martin, communications manager for Robinsons said:

“This project has been a long time in the planning and it’s very rewarding to see the first of the new look pub websites go live. As with any business, a pub’s website is hugely important. It’s the first place that new customers look to find out more information. Having this online presence is vital to the success of our pubs; many of which are located in rural areas.

“We have a great relationship with Mando and the feedback received to date has been incredible. The Bulls Head is a great launchpad for the rest of our pub estate, and we can’t wait to launch the rest of the project later this year.”
