Serious injury law firm appoints international lead
Specialist law firm for catastrophic and serious injury cases, Serious Injury Law, appoints new team leader to head up its international injury division

Ross Smith has been appointed team leader of the international injury division at law firm Serious Injury Law.
Primarily based in Southport, Serious Injury Law is a subsidiary of legal group Fletchers, which has its headquarters in the town. Ross, who joins from Howe & Co Solicitors, has recent experience of helping get compensation for victims of the Post Office scandal.
With a background in cross-border personal injury litigation and a track record of delivering justice for clients injured abroad, Smith brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and legal expertise to the role.
He offers significant expertise in complex high value personal injury matters and foreign and domestic matters, including direct actions in the UK against foreign insurers.

Ross has worked in travel litigation since 2012 and has played a key role in securing significant settlements and judgments for clients involved in international road traffic collisions, holiday accidents, and workplace injuries abroad.

In his new role, he will lead a team of experienced solicitors and case managers, oversee high-value, cross-jurisdictional claims and foster collaboration with international legal networks.
