Liverpool city centre shopping mall Clayton Square is now 100% let following the opening of the new Savers health and beauty outlet.

Savers is occupying a 3,151 sq ft unit at the centre previously occupied by a similar retailer Bodycare. It stocks a range of products that span haircare, skincare, perfume, beauty, and wellbeing essentials.

With entrances on Parker Street and Ranelagh Street, Clayton Square has been overshadowed in recent years by its bigger neighbours St Johns and Liverpool ONE but it has continued to hold its own.

In 2021 it was acquired by investor and asset manager Redical and joined a number of other assets in the company’s portfolio including Victoria Leeds and The Liberty in Romford.

Other tenants in Clayton Square include Boots, Tesco Express, B&M, McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, The Gym Group and Lane 7.

Dan Tucker, Asset Manager at Redical, commented: “Clayton Square is differentiated in Liverpool because we prioritise giving customers the best selection of essential retailers, which Savers adds to.

“That its launch returns the centre to being fully let makes it a double win too. It highlights Clayton Square’s appeal as a desirable location for key brands due to its strong footfall that comes from being at the centre of the city.”

LTL Property Consultants represented Redical whilst Mason Partners represented Savers in the letting.

Clare Jennings, property director at Savers, added: “Opening in this area was an important next step in growing Saver’s footprint in the area due to its strong footfall among our already existing loyal, local shoppers.

“This marks an exciting milestone for our customers in Liverpool and we’re proud to bring a wide range of products to the city centre.”
