Sports nutrition venture Applied Nutrition says it is on track to hit full-year revenues of £140m, a big rise on the previous figure of £107.1m.
On Monday the Knowsley-based business, which employs more than 250 people. reported its half year results for the six months to January 31, 2026. They show revenues of £74.5m, 56.5% up, and pre-tax profits of £20.9m, 53.7% higher than last year.
Applied Nutrition produces a range of pre-work out supplements, protein powders, vitamins, protein waters and other wellness and fitness products.
Founded in 2014 by Kirkby-born Tom Ryder, in late October 2024 the firm entered the London Stock Exchange in a £350m flotation. In November 2025 it revealed it had broken through the £100m revenue barrier for the first time.
In early March LBN revealed the company had started work on a new 84,000 sq ft global distribution centre and company headquarters in Knowsley. This will increase the company’s total operational footprint to over 204,000 sq ft.
And on Monday the business said this extra capacity has the potential to push revenues to £300m. Tom Ryder said: “Our vision to become the world’s most trusted and innovative sports nutrition, health, and wellness brand remains at the heart of our ambition.
“This six-month period has further highlighted both the breadth of opportunity before us and our proven ability to realise it. The performance and momentum across the business reflects a consumer environment that continues to shift decisively towards health, fitness and wellbeing.”

In February LBN reported that Coleen Rooney is to strengthen her relationship with Applied Nutrition and further invest in the business.
Early in 2024 Coleen, the wife of former Everton, Manchester United and England Wayne Rooney, began working with Knowsley-based Applied Nutrition on her range of five health and wellness products.
In the latest set of results the company hailed new customer wins and channel expansion including first out-licensing agreement secured with Morrisons, further extending the Applied Nutrition brand into the mainstream grocery sector.
There has also been a continued extension of its global footprint with further growth in key regions across Europe, Latin America and Asia.
“Since our IPO, we have seen an uplift in our profile, awareness, trust and credibility – exactly as we had envisaged, but even more impactful than we could have anticipated,” added Tom.
“This has enabled us to move faster and think bigger, with an innovation engine that is stronger than ever, allowing us to bring new products to market at pace.”
