A new restaurant will open in Southport this summer on the site of the former Bistrot Pierre and owners are seeking servers, bartenders, supervisors, chefs, line cooks and kitchen porters. Andrew Brown reports

Work is taking place to open a new restaurant in the site of the former Bistrot Pierre in Southport this summer.
Its name has not yet been revealed with more details due to be released soon. It is good news for one of the most prominent sites in the town centre, at 377-385 Lord Street, on the corner of Lord Street and Nevill Street.
Workers have been on site carrying out initial work in recent days while posters have gone up in the window announcing: ‘Coming Soon – Hot Saucy. Ohh La La!’.
This new venture is already in the process of hiring new members of staff for its team. It is seeking servers, bartenders, supervisors, chefs, line cooks and kitchen porters. Anyone interested is asked to call: 01704 776080.
An application has been made to Sefton Council for a licence to allow the venue to open between 8am and midnight seven days a week.
