Adventure Golf Centre to swing into Cheshire Oaks
An indoor adventure golf complex with the capacity to hold up to 300 players at a time is set to swing into Cheshire this winter.
The UK’s leading indoor adventure golf company, Paradise Island Adventure Golf, is preparing to launch its next miniature golf leisure destination at Cheshire Oaks later this year, bringing a new experience to Ellesmere Port.
The 13,000 sq ft adventure facility will offer the ultimate mini-golf challenge with players able to choose from two bespoke 18-hole golf courses, each set amidst a tropical island paradise. The courses will be full of twists and turns, designed to send the ball on a rollercoaster ride, whilst allowing mini-golfers the chance to test their skills through a maze of obstacles and uneven terrain.
On the Coral Cove course, explorers will tee-off at the port side on an abandoned shipwreck, navigating through sea caves and rock pools to reach a tropical desert island beach with palm trees and beautiful seascape. Next voyagers will travel through the jungle and cannibal camp, before completing the journey in the temple ruins.
On the Lazy Lagoon course, adventurers will tee-off at a mysterious bazaar spice market, full of exotic fruits, carpets and lanterns, against a backdrop of rich sounds and smells. The expedition will continue through an eastern-style Maharaja’s ruined palace, before completing the journey on the desert island beach and blue lagoon.
Craig Nichol, marketing manager at Paradise Island Adventure Golf, said:
“We’re really looking forward to introducing our indoor adventure golf concept to Cheshire later this year. This is crazy golf as you’ve never seen it before and offers an exciting and affordable day or night out for families, friends, couples and groups. It’s also a great place to host birthday parties for all ages and original corporate events.
“Adventure golf is fast becoming one of the most popular attractions on the UK leisure scene and we’re excited to be bringing Paradise Island Adventure Golf to Cheshire.”
Paradise Island Adventure Golf is the UK’s leading indoor adventure golf provider, with the opening of Cheshire Oaks marking the company’s fifth location, following sites in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Livingston.
The Cheshire Oaks development will provide up to 10 new jobs and will be housed in a custom built unit at Cheshire Oaks, building on a number of other leisure activities already on offer at the designer outlet village.
