It’s that time of year again! The champagne is on ice, the trousers are pressed, and the flamboyant frocks are hanging proudly in the bedrooms of scousers the length and breadth of the city.

As organisers work tirelessly to make last minute preparations for one of the most important events in the sporting calendar, and the most famous steeplechase in the world, bars around the city are jostling for position to stake their claim to be the premier pre-racing venue.

Of course, Grand National weekend is as much a fixture on the social calendar as the sporting one for the Liverpool natives, and indeed for the thousands who will be flocking from round the country and abroad.

Fazenda Bar & Grill offers the perfect pre-racing rendezvous for eager race-goers to share tips and gossip, over quality food and bubbly.

Fazenda will be offering guests a fusion of English breakfast with a Brazilian twist, complemented by a glass of Veuve Clicquot. The traditional English plate will be accompanied by South American treats, such as linguica (Brazilian sausages), presunto con abacaxi (gammon & pineapple) and morcela (black pudding). Other breakfast choices such as smoked salmon, cheese, fresh fruit, cereal and pastries will also be served, alongside tasty Brazilian nibbles.
