Liverpool law firm Jackson Lees appoints former MSB lawyer to its employment team
Employment lawyer Hannah Dowd has joined Liverpool law firm Jackson Lees after three years with MSB.
Hannah offers more than 10 years’ experience in the legal sector, being qualified for just over four years. After achieving a law degree at the University of Chester, she went on to study for her LPC at The University of Law in Manchester.
Since entering the legal sector, Hannah has become a specialist in employment law. She offers experience in supporting both employers and employees in dealing with challenging contentious situations.
In her new role at Jackson Lees’ Liverpool office, she will deal with issues such as settlement agreements, discrimination in the workplace, dismissals, the practical application of employment law procedures in the workplace and developing HR documentation.
Hannah said: “I was attracted to work at Jackson Lees because their culture is focused on making a positive difference and creating access to justice for the people who need it most.
“There are so many opportunities for development through training and working with like-minded professionals, but also a heavy focus on work-life balance, which is so invaluable to me as a mum of two young boys.

Hannah is passionate about giving marginalised groups access to justice, ensuring clear understanding of the law for clients, and has been involved in equality and diversity committees in past roles.
