Accountancy firm takes on 12 Liverpool trainees
Accountancy firm MHA Moore and Smalley has taken on a record 48 new trainees and apprentices with 12 being taken on at its Liverpool office. Tony McDonough reports
North West accountancy firm MHA Moore and Smalley is welcome. 12 new trainees and apprentices to its Liverpool office.
They are among a record 48 new trainees at the firm this year. It has offices in Liverpool, Preston, Manchester, Blackpool East Midlands, Kendal and Lancaster. Established in 1892 it employs more than 400 people and has 29 partners.
These new recruits include university, college and sixth form graduates. They will undertake professional accounting and tax qualifications funded by the firm.
Each of the new members of staff will be mentored by a senior colleague and will receive their own development plan to support their progression within the firm.
Graham Gordon, managing partner, MHA Moore and Smalley, said: “This year’s intake of trainees and apprentices is another record figure for the firm. This is a testament to our continued growth across the North West and nationally as part of the MHA group.
