Liverpool construction firm Frank Rogers Building Contractors secures place on Healthy Homes framework and will help social landlords get to net zero. Tony McDonough reports
Frank Rogers Building Contractors has secured a plan on the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Healthy Homes framework.
FR Greener Solutions, a division of Liverpool-based Frank Rogers Building Contractors, says the appointment reflects its commitment to delivering high quality decarbonisation and building safety services in collaboration with CHIC.
CHIC is a collaborative, not-for-profit, member-owned and governed consortium that delivers compliant procurement services and commercial support to its members in partnership with the supply chain.
Its members include more than 200 housing associations and local authority affordable housing landlords, all of whom are now focused on net zero. Healthy Homes is a four-year framework that will enhance residential properties and improve tenants’ lives.
This new framework has been established to enable its members to engage all the support needed to survey, plan and deliver retrofit and building works and services.
Compliant with PAS 2030 and 2035 and Building Safety Bill standards, it will enable landlords to realise their net-zero emissions goals.
By integrating goods, works and services, it streamlines the process of surveying, design, coordination, assessment and implementation, making sustainability and safety more attainable.
Based in Clubmoor, Frank Rogers was established more than half a century ago. It offers expertise in construction, new-build, refurbishment, planned maintenance and repairs and fire protection.
The firm has also set up the FR Foundation that is committed to donating thousands of pounds to good causes within the communities it serves.
