Global construction, property and management consultancy, Rider Levett Bucknall doubles the size of its office on Liverpool waterfront. Tony McDonough reports
Global consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has signed a new lease at Liverpool Waters, doubling the size of its space.
RLB, which is a construction, property and management consultancy, will now occupy 4,700 sq ft at No 8 Princes Dock on the waterfront. Its current projects include the new Everton stadium, currently under construction at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Its Liverpool based team has increased by 50% in the last two years. Its new office suite will accommodate its growing team and better support them with hybrid working within a multi-function space. This will also offer access to enhanced technology.
RLB’s commitment to achieving net zero by 2030 was also a key part of its decision to remain at Liverpool Waters. According to site owner Peel L&P, the commercial estate at the site has been operationally net zero for several years.
From this year, the commercial buildings at Princes Dock will also be connected to Liverpool Water’s District Heat Network. This will provide low carbon heat and power.
