Former Communications Adviser at Kellogg’s UK, Jessica Harman, has been appointed to head up the PR for leading waste water heat recovery firm, Power-Pipe.
Harman, who spent five years working on brands including Special K, Nutri-Grain, Coco Pops and Pringles, has joined Power-Pipe as Senior PR and Marketing Manager.
She will be responsible for raising awareness of the company’s national and regional profile by reinforcing its position as the most cost-effective waste water heat recovery system on the UK market.
Talking about her switch from Corn Flakes to copper pipes, Harman, said:
“Waste water heat recovery is a world away from working with Coco Monkey on daily basis but I’m really looking forward to doing something new. I’m a strong believer in all things green and I am keen to promote a product which can help people increase their energy efficiency, save money on heating and ultimately reduce carbon emissions.”
Ashley Prescott, UK agent for Power- Pipe, said:
“Jess is extremely creative and brings with her a wealth of experience having worked on such major brands and campaigns during her time at Kellogg’s. We are thrilled to have her on board and her primary objective is to devise a stand-out marketing strategy to help move our business forward, whilst injecting some enthusiasm into the world of waste water heat recovery.”
Prior to her time at Kellogg’s, Jessica spent three years at North West PR firm, Paver Smith, which underwent a rebrand last year to become Influential.
Harman joins the organisation, which has it UK office in Bootle, Merseyside.
