Space by Liquid is a new events, exhibitions and photoshoots space in Liverpool

Creative agency Liquid has opened a new studio and events space in Baltic Triangle in Liverpool.

Suitable for events, exhibitions and photoshoots the new venue, called Space Event Studio, comprises 2,600 sq ft of space across two storeys in Stanhope Street. Liquid has purchased the building for its Space Liverpool  venture.

Local architects Strado designed the project, creating a flexible space integrating a lift for accessibility, onsite coffee shop, barber shop and a podcast studio. There is also a fully stocked bar, drinks and events licence.

Jake Nolan, head of brand and marketing at Space Liverpool explained: “What we wanted was to create something totally different for the city, delivering widespread appeal and rooted in quality, flexibility and versatility.

“We have brought together all the elements needed to create an event of any type, supported by the best resources and infrastructure.

“We’re able to host literally any type of event from brand activations, product launches to shoots, exhibitions, weddings, and so much more.”

This new studio has hosted the launch of cult football magazine and collective, MUNDIAL while the BBC took the entire building for the month preceding Eurovision.

Jake added: “We believe that the launch of Space Liverpool will attract other creatives to the city – the standard is fully in line with studios you’d expect to see in East London.

“Ultimately, this space has been created by designers and creatives for that same market. We want to attract more big brands, invite collaborations and give the city a new proposition for the creative community.”

Liquid has retained its original Space Liverpool site within Camp and Furnace on Greenland Street.

The site includes a 2,500 sq ft studio with a purpose built cove, created for background, editorial and e-commerce shoots. The space is big enough to house multiple sets simultaneously on photoshoots.
