Liverpool financial management firm Pavis has promoted Quentin McCormick to the role of managing director, replacing Bob Newton who becomes executive chairman after 25 years with the business.

Mr McCormick steps up to the role after five years as a director at Pavis, during which time it has enjoyed strong year-on-year growth and now advises clients on investments in excess of £190m.

In the last few weeks Pavis has relocated to 3,000 sq ft of office space at No 4 St Paul’s Square in the heart of the city’s business district.

Julie Calvert remains as a director and will continue to help lead the firm’s growing team of senior financial planners and specialist support staff.

“Pavis is now one of the most respected independent firms of chartered financial planners in the country and that success is down to almost three decades of tireless work by Bob, Julie and the entire team,” said Mr McCormick.

We have a real collective ethic here and a shared dedication to consistently raise the bar in all aspects of the advice we give to our clients.

With our fantastic new office in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district and an ever-growing team of talented advisers, we are in a unique position to move forward and I look forward to leading the firm through some exciting times.”
