The contemporary Indian kitchen arrived in the city following success in Chester and Heswall.
The interior features a bar mezzanine level which overlooks the downstairs dining area, exposed brick, hound’s-tooth fabric chairs, fur stools and velvet booths and suspended chandeliers.
Founder of Barton Rouge Amit Kumar said: “Having built a pristine reputation amongst the Cheshire community over the past six years, we are delighted to have opened our doors in the heart of Liverpool’s bustling business district.
“Our new opening brings with it an exciting series of brand exclusives including the introduction of Old Delhi style street food, a lunchtime menu and signature cocktails. Being our biggest venue yet with a 180 cover capacity, we hope that the space will also become a destination of choice for those wanting to host private functions with a difference.”
In line with the new site opening, venue-exclusive additions have been made to the menu.
Old Delhi style street food, such as Chandi Chowk and Dabbas, has been introduced and will be served during lunch and dinner.
Amit added: “While the introduction of street food has been in the pipeline for a while, we thought it was best to coincide its launch with the new venue opening. As the street food craze continues to sweep the nation, we want to put a unique stamp on our culinary creations.
“Our dishes capture the true essence of Indian cuisine, in particular traditional Old Delhi home cooking, as they combine nostalgic flavour infusions with a hint of contemporary elegance.
“Not only will the varied options be available in dinner form, we have also added a lunch menu for the first time in a bid to encourage city corporates to make the most of out of their lunch break and come and explore their horizons through a unique cultural culinary journey.”
