A games designer, website designer and a point of sale tech venture have all taken a total of more than 5,500 sq ft at a Warrington business centre.
10:10 Games, Prism Studios and Oolio will boost headcount at The Causeway in Warrington by 68 people. Wire Regeneration, a joint venture between Warrington Council and Langtree has refurbished the facility which was formerly St James Business Centre.
“This is a major vote of confidence in our investment and the quality of the new space we have developed,” said Jayne Furnival, executive director – property, at Langtree, which manages The Causeway.
“The building now offers enhanced co-working space, flexible meeting rooms and event spaces for everyone from freelancers through to mobile teams and growing businesses.
“You can use it by the hour, the day, week or year and we’re delighted to build on its reputation as a home for emerging tech talent.”
Funko Fusion is 10:10 Games’ best-known title and Arthur Parsons from the business, added: “Having a base in the heart of the town that combines super-fast broadband capacity with the flexibility and facilities to suit the needs of a growing business like ours was key.
“We need a home that appeals to our team and where there’s an eco-system of established tech companies with whom we can collaborate and learn. I’m delighted to have made the move.”
