Facilities management business Avrenim is continuing to win new contracts after seeing a strong start to 2023.

In May LBN reported the Liverpool firm had won deals worth £3.25m in the first three months of the year. In the third quarter, July to September, it has won a further £3.6m worth of contracts taking the total for the year so far to just over £7m.

Avrenim offers facilities management, consultancy, design and project delivery. It specialises in regulated environments and renewable initiatives.

Latest project wins include the awarding of a design and build contract worth more than £1.7m by the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. This is for the remodelling and expansion of its existing clinical space and theatre capacity.

As part of this project, Avrenim will also complete external remedial works to the walls and roofs while installing a new AHU and auxiliary equipment, new medical gas user points and an integrated fire detection system.

Projects also include the refurbishment of a youth and community centre on behalf of Merseyside Youth Association worth £1.4m. Avrenim was retained to develop a building suitable to deliver more services to local residents.

It will also be modifying the building to suit future needs and provide energy efficient measures.

And Avrenim has also been awarded almost £500,000 worth of work providing engineering services to the Keel Building in Liverpool. It will upgrade the mini district heating scheme within the development and the 240 individual apartments.

Chief executive Simon Harris said: “It has been a fantastic end to Q3 and a hugely promising start to Q4. We now go into the final few months of the year with real optimism for our continued growth plans.

“Our recent success comes as a result of a collective effort to expand our offering across the UK and various sectors, something we plan to develop even further over the next quarter and into 2024.”
