Low cost airline Blue Air has unveiled a new route out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Malaga.

And to celebrate the announcement the Romanian carrier is running a flash sale from Friday, January 12, to Sunday, January 14, allowing passengers to enjoy 15% off all flights from the UK when travelling between now and October 27.

Flights to the Costa Del Sol airport, which will take off from June 5 with two weekly flights, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The new route to Malaga follows on from the success of Blue Air’s recent announcement that the airline will be flying to Palma de Mallorca in Spain from this summer.

The popular holiday location was voted the most desired destination by Blue Air passengers and members of the public and as a result was added to its summer 2018 schedule.

Tudor Constantinescu, chief commercial officer at Blue Air, said: “Our arrival at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, just under 12 months ago, has been a huge success for Blue Air, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more passengers this year.

“Our 15% off flash sale will encourage passengers to dream of escaping the winter weather for sunny skies.”
