Brouhaha welcome in 2016 festival

The Brouhaha International Festival is back this year with fourteen days of local, national and international indoor and outdoor performances, carnival parades, schools and community workshops, a carnival sector youth conference’ New Voices’ and a new three day event ‘The Caribbean Music Festival’.

2016 has already been an exciting year for Brouhaha with carnival projects in India, South Africa and France, with more carnival and festival events to come in the Netherlands. Brouhaha winds up in the UK at the end of summer.

People are invited to join them as an audience member or as a participant to celebrate a diverse and unique arts offer within Brouhaha International Street Festival 2016, where local meets international.

On show will be new international companies from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and India, alongside stunning carnival parades in Liverpool.

The Brouhaha 2016 festival programme hosts cultural events and community celebrations that engage within many groups, neighbourhoods and communities locally, regionally, into Europe and beyond.
