Bruntwood trio play chicken for charity

Bruntwood’s Colin Sinclair, Colin Forshaw and Matt Lee have already proven they’re not ‘chicken’ by signing up for the London to Paris cycle ride in July.

Now, they are each pledging to dress as one during the 300-mile event if they can reach a new fundraising target in aid of Claire House children’s hospice.

The Liverpool-based trio have already raised an incredible £10,000 but, inspired by the Tour de France, they have agreed to wear the bright yellow costumes subject to receiving the additional £4,000.

Colin Sinclair said:

“We’ve had a great response so far from family, friends, colleagues and customers, but we want to go that eggstra mile and raise even more cash for a truly worthy cause.

“The end of our challenge coincides with the arrival of the Tour de France riders in Paris, so we’ve agreed to don our own little yellow outfits for one leg of the journey, but only if we can raise some more money.

“Some people will think we’re quackers but we are asking everyone who knows us to dig deep and not let us fall fowl of our ambitious new target. If we can achieve that, it may just be the longest chicken run in history!”
