A number of the city’s movers and shakers descended on iconic Liverpool jewellers Boodles last Friday evening to raise a toast to the late Liverpool legend John Lennon in collaboration with Hard Days Night Hotel.

Taking place on Friday October 9th, what would have been the Beatles icon’s 75th birthday, the event saw guests enjoy a selection of tipples alongside delicious canapes courtesy of the hotel.

Attendees perused the Lord Street store’s collection of diamonds and luxury jewellery while General Manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey and General Manager of Boodles Paul Holmes said a few words.

To end the opulent evening, invitees alongside members of staff from Hard Days Night Hotel and Boodles, joined together to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to John and enjoy a slice of specially made birthday cake, based on one of John’s favourite recipes.
