Business leaders to attend Liverpool wellness event
A day-long Wellness In The City event takes place in Liverpool this month and will see a number of business leaders in attendance
A number of Liverpool business leaders will attend the day-long Wellness In The City event later this month.
Being held on Friday, January 27, Wellness In The City will take place at The Spine in Paddington Village, hailed as one of the healthiest buildings in the UK. Its aim is to “educate and raise awareness” of options available in the local wellness sector.
Headlining the day is global wellness expert Cesar Gamio. He will appear alongside Alison Lobb, managing partner at Morecrofts Solicitors, and wellbeing author Kim Rutherford in a lunchtime panel event.
This will be chaired by business journalist Tony McDonough, editor of Liverpool Business News.
Wellness In The City founder Clare Ellis said: “We’ve had some great support for our inaugural event especially from BIPC Liverpool. They are sponsoring the full day of activities that includes something for business, community organisations, charities and the general public.
“In addition to the calibre speakers on our panel, we have teamed up with The Good Small Business Awards and Dallas Consulting as collaborative partners.

“And we are working with some household name wellness providers and practitioners across the industry, who’ll be educating, inspiring and raising awareness of what wellness options exist in the city.
“We hope the event can be a catalyst for more businesses, organisations and the general public being more mindful of self-care as well as having the knowledge of where to look to enhance their well-being and be more forward-thinking in that process too.”
Clare’s partners in Wellness In The City include Margaret Bell, an experienced, innovative functional medicine practitioner focused on gut health, and Claire Morton, a well-known multidisciplinary wellbeing specialist in the region for more than two decades.
