Business networking group celebrates 15 years in the city

BNI – one of the most successful business networking organisations in the world – is celebrating 15 years in Liverpool with a business lunch on 19th May at the Marriott Hotel, Queens Square.

BNI organisers Andy Davis, John Haynes and Paddy Mulligan (L-R) celebrate 15 years of BNI and the launch of the new Twilight networking group.

The celebratory lunch, which will feature guest speakers such as best-selling author and business communications coach Andy Bounds, is open to all members of the city’s business community.

During the last 15 years, BNI has facilitated weekly early morning networking events for hundreds of Merseyside businesses, from architects and designers to accountants and solicitors.

The anniversary celebrations coincide with the launch of a brand new BNI evening group, called Twilight, which will meet at 5.30pm every Tuesday at The Liner Hotel.

Andy Davis, BNI Director Consultant, is looking forward to the double celebration. He said:

“Anyone in business knows that networking is key to success but it’s not always an easy technique to get right.

“At BNI, we have a unique approach to business networking, which encourages business people to get to know, like and trust each other in order to help generate referrals. The fact that we have been successfully working with local businesses for the last 15 years is real testament to the ethos behind BNI.”

Kaan Rassad, Director Consultant for BNI’s new evening group, Twilight, added:

“We’re hugely excited about the launch of Liverpool’s first evening BNI group, which I am confident will become a welcome addition to the early morning sessions that have been running so successfully for the past 15 years. I am looking forward to welcoming new and existing members to Twilight.”

BNI has more than 600 members across Merseyside and over 16,000 members throughout the UK.

Tickets to the BNI anniversary lunch are on sale now at £10 per person at http://bnialpha.eventbrite.co.uk, and for more information visit www.bnimerseyside.com.
