Capital & Centric rebrands 12 Tithebarn as Tempest
Capital & Centric has announced that it will be christening its new development in Liverpool city centre, changing its name from 12 Tithebarn to Tempest.
The completion of the £6 million speculative refurbishment of the block is anticipated to be completed in the next few weeks.
Built in the 70’s, the Tithebarn Street building was acquired by the Manchester-based developer Capital & Centric from Derwent Lodge Properties in 2013 after it had been left derelict for a number of years.
The refurbishment has been part-funded by a £2.4 million grant from the European Regional Development Fund. Middleton-based fit-out specialist Sustainability Inc is currently performing on-site assessments, and the architect for the redesign is SixTwo.
Keppie Massie and CBRE are the agents for Tempest.
