Devised with opulent celebrations in mind, the popular all-day drinking and dining destination is set to serve up an assortment of choicest meat, fish and vegetarian dishes on December 31.

With both dining and bar tickets available for the occasion, revellers can expect an evening of sophisticated indulgence when the clock strikes twelve.

Owner and Director of Castle St Townhouse Jason McNeill said: “Those looking for a stylish yet gloriously relaxed New Year’s Eve celebration in the heart of the city centre need look no further, as our head chef Martin Simm has expertly created a four-course feast with festivity amongst family and friends in mind.

“We’re looking forward raising a toast to a fantastic 2016, which saw us open our doors in the city’s cosmopolitan postcode and enjoy a wonderful three months in the Commercial District.”

To begin the four-course feast, guests will be treated to an Amuse Bouche followed by starter options, including maple glazed crispy duck & bacon pancake, seared scallops with king prawns, caramelised shallot puree, samphire & spinach and roast tomato & red pepper gnocchi with rocket & goats cheese.

For the main course, diners can choose from fillet medallions with pressed root vegetable dauphinoise & tender stem broccoli, pan fried seabass fillets with curried parmentier potatoes or asparagus & wild mushroom with pecorino. Those with a sweet tooth can then enjoy an assiette of desserts, comprising chocolate brownie, crème brûlée and strawberry cheesecake.

Jason added: “Castle St Townhouse is certainly feeling festive this December, as all month long we will be serving up a merry medley of Christmas cocktails guaranteed to get our guests in to the Christmas spirit – literally! In addition to the Christmas concoctions, those wanting to enjoy a delicious dining experience can choose from a diverse array of seasonal dishes that combine nostalgic yuletide flavours with a contemporary spin, once again courtesy of our talented head chef.”

New Year’s Eve Dining tickets are priced at £55 per person. Bar admission is free all night.

The Christmas menus are available until December 31 (lunch only). For the Christmas Lunch menu, which is served until 5pm, two courses are priced at £14.95 and three courses at £18.95. For the Christmas Evening Dining menu, two courses are priced at £19.95 and three courses at £24.95.
