This week, Bold Street, an area famous for it’s coffee culture welcomed a new addition to its eclectic roster of shops, bars and restaurants with the opening of Central Perk. The coffee house is famously modelled on the time-honoured meeting place, as seen in popular sitcom ‘Friends’.

This is the third opening for the Central Perk franchise in as many years in the city region and the shop on Bold  Street will accommodate up to 100 covers across two floors, creating around 15 new jobs locally.

The brand will continue to work with local suppliers, including Joe Black Coffee, who have created and supply the exclusive Central Perk blend of coffee.
