City of Liverpool College sweeps the board at Pharmacy Awards

Three City of Liverpool College students have taken all of the top honours in the Pharmacy Workforce North West awards.

Hundreds of apprentices competed, but the City of Liverpool College apprentices swept the board, winning every prize at the regional awards.

Recognising individuals who have really shone academically and within the workplace, the Pharmacy Workforce North West awards are organised by Health Education North West (HENW). HENW is the local education and training board for health workers in Cheshire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

College apprentices Rebecca Page, 22 won Best Academic Achiever, Peter Marshall, 40, Best Personal Achievement and Development; and Hannah Jones, 21 scooped Best Audit Poster.

All three students are on the Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship at the college.

Elaine Bowker, Principal at the City of Liverpool College said:

“To win not one but all the three top awards during the event is a great achievement and I’m really proud of our students and the tutors who’ve supported them in their training. They are an inspiration to other students and show the value an apprentice can bring to any organisation.”
