Countdown begins to Liverpool Food and Drink Festival
Celebrity chefs including the Hairy Bikers, Gizzi Erskine, Simon Rimmer, Nisha Katona, Paul Askew, Gary Usher, Aiden Byrne, Anton Piotrowski and Anjula Devi are all set to appear at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival.
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 16-17, the event will transform Sefton Park into a “food lovers’ paradise”.
Visitors can expect a weekend of tasty treats with local restaurants, bars and producers joining TV chefs for a giant feast to celebrate the city’s growing food and drink scene.
During the weekend event, there will be a whole raft of celebrity chef demos, masterclasses and tastings as well as street food stalls, a producers’ market, a gin garden, a prosecco bar and live entertainment throughout the festival including live music by regular guest John O’Connell.
Local experts will be giving tips and advice throughout the day with demonstrations from Izakaya, Red’s True Barbecue, Pho, Tandoori and The Alchemist.
