Merseyside accountant Jon Davies has launched a new Liverpool practice at the Business First Centre in South Liverpool.

Jon has appointed a team of four senior client managers to the practise and there are already more than a hundred clients on the books, including NHS finance consultancy Assista Consulting UK, cooker manufacturer Bertazzoni, and the Casbah Coffee Club tourist attraction.

Jon is a former business growth adviser for the Entrepreneur’s Circle and is keen to focus on helping firms successfully develop while marking his own business out through the added value offered to clients.

During his 23-year career, Jon has held senior director roles at Ernst & Young and BDO LLP with the last six years spent as joint owner of MJF.

Jon says: “There’s so much more to accounting than spreadsheets and cash flow forecasts and I want to use my experience to understand my clients’ businesses, help them make key decisions and, ultimately, assist in their future growth and success.

“My team of qualified accountants can act like non-executive directors, able to advise and spend time learning about how their clients’ businesses work day-to-day.
