Small business owners are invited to attend a free event in West Lancs next month to learn more about inheritance tax and estate planning.

Burscough-based Acumen Financial Partnership will host the event on Monday, March 13, at its headquarters in Swordfish Business Park from 2pm to 5pm.

Guest speakers include Susan Sherry from Hill Dickinson Solicitors and Jaclyn King-Gibson from Rathbone Investment Management.

Topics up for discussion include wealth management, business property relief, succession planning and lasting powers of attorney.

Although the event is free to attend Acumen, which currently has more than £128m of funds under management, is asking people to book in advance and places will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Managing director Angela Maher said: “After the success of hosting our first investment event last summer, we couldn’t wait to follow it up by inviting a new raft of industry leaders to share their knowledge.

“Once again, we’ve attracted some of the most respected and experienced speakers from leading UK financial firms to come to Burscough.”

Full details of the speakers are available online at www.acumenfinancial.co.uk/blog and bookings to attend can be made by emailing: info@acumenfinancial.co.uk
