Based in Warrington, the world’s second largest gin distiller has forcasted record-breaking results in time for 2015.

G&J Distillers producer of nearly 30 different gins, has reported that it expects its turnover to rise to £66 million, an increase of 38% from 2012’s figure of $48 million.

G&J has increased its bottle production output from 54.5 to 63 million bottles a year since 2009, with this figure predicted to rise even further in 2015 to a total of 65 million bottles.

The G&J production team has also expanded by 20% to meet this increase in output.

Managing director of G&J Distillers Mark Parton said:

“G&J Distillers has seen tremendous growth over the past two years, in terms of turnover and output. And we are expecting to see these figures rise steeply as we look ahead to 2015.

“We now ship to over 34 countries across the world, so it’s been vital that we increase our staff to ensure we can meet the additional demand for products that we have seen over recent years. And our state of the art distillery ensures that we can produce more gin and other spirits than ever before, which enables us to manufacture 60% of the UK’s gin and 20% globally.

“G&J Distiller’s continued growth is testament to over 250 years of hard work and craftsmanship, and as the oldest distillery in the world we are delighted to look back at how far we’ve come and excited to see the great future that lies ahead.”
