Hilton Liverpool raises more than £17,000 for Radio City’s Cash for Kids charity at annual Star Ball

Hilton Hotel, Liverpool city centre has announced they raised £17,031.02 for Radio City’s Cash for Kids charity as a result of their successful Star Ball charity dinner at the end of 2016.

The annual charity event endeavours to support local charities as well as the D. M. Thomas Foundation.

Radio City’s Cash for Kids Fundraising Manager Carole Clare said “We are enormously grateful to Marcus and his team at the Hilton for raising this fantastic sum of money at this truly wonderful annual event.  The funds they have raised for Cash for Kids will be used to help local disadvantaged children and their support is very much appreciated”

Tickets are now on sale for Star Ball 2017, which will take place on October 21 and this year the event will be supporting the work of Variety, the Children’s charity, who work with sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

A champagne reception will be followed by a four course dinner, and entertainment.

The evening will be hosted by Radio City’s Peter Price and tables of ten are available for £895 (Individual tickets available for £89.50 each).

Hilton Liverpool General Manager, Marcus Magee, said:  ‘We are committed to supporting local charities and are delighted that the work we do at the Hilton benefits so many local vulnerable and disadvantaged children. We work very hard to ensure that our annual Star Ball is a first class event and look forward to making this years Ball the most spectacular yet.’
