Leading corporate finance expert returns from retirement
One of the region’s leading entrepreneurial corporate finance advisors, Steve Stuart, has announced his return to commercial activity just one month after his retirement.
The former Brabners Stuart corporate finance partner is embarking on an exciting new role, working from within businesses, rather than advising from the outside.
This move has already seen Steve taking up a non-executive role within the leisure industry.
Steve is now looking to get involved in a number of new projects and ventures for which he can provide financial growth advice and insights.
He commented:
“After a month away from the buzz of the world of business, I realised that there are a number of tremendous opportunities to keep the city moving forward on a number of fronts and I want to be at the forefront of this agenda.
“I’ve got an extensive network and knowledge of local affairs, which provides the perfect platform to advise in this important arena at a pivotal point in the devolution debate.
“And with the EU debate and a trip to the Mansion House in February already planned things are shaping up very well in this regard.
“I will be taking time to select and assess the right opportunities, but I know I have a lot of knowledge and experience to offer with any projects I get involved in.”
Steve is also working on the advisory board of Liverpool Hope University and will be continuing his role with Professional Liverpool.
