Let The Epstein entertain your little darlings this half term

The Epstein Theatre has October half term holiday covered next week with three fabulous kids’ shows to keep your little ones entertained.

There will certainly no time for cabin fever to set in as the theatre on Hanover Street venue has something for children of all ages from tots to teens!

First up, is an adventure on the high seas as Here Be Monsters sails into the Epstein on Saturday, 24th October and Sunday, 25th October.

Set sail with the villainous Captain and his fearsome crew on their voyage in Mayflower Productions’ thrilling musical adventure Here Be Monsters as they journey through monster-infested waters in search of a mysterious island crammed with jewels and gem stones.

The Captain is certain that “monsters simply don’t exist,” but as they near the island and the mist closes in around them, his crew are not so sure…

This thrilling new musical adventure is performed by five talented actor musicians who bring this exciting story to life.

Let your little monsters loose and what’s more, if they come dressed up as their favourite spooky characters, they can win a family ticket to the glittering pantomime Cinderella which will be staged at the Epstein Theatre this festive season!

Next up is something slightly softer and furrier than monsters. Koalas are the cuddliest critters but just how did they learn to hug?

There’s only one way to find out – come to the Epstein and The People’s Theatre Company will reveal all…
Karen The Koala will tell her story in this fun filled family musical, written especially for parents to enjoy with their children. The show is filled with a host of wild characters including Natascha the Witch and the reggae beavers.

Based on the book How The Koala Learnt To Hug by Steven Lee, this charming production is back on tour for its fifth anniversary and features great stories, sing along songs, superb games and first class hugging.

Finally, Starbright Entertainment invites you to follow the second star on the right and straight on till morning to see the ageless classic Peter Pan – The Musical on Thursday 29th & Friday 30th October.

A spectacular musical adaptation of the beloved tale about the boy who never grows up, let your imagination take you to Neverland with Peter and Wendy meeting Lost Boys, Indians and the villainous Captain Hook – not forgetting his silly sidekick Smee. Why not add to the fun and dress as your favourite character? There will be a special prize for the best dressed and everyone will have the chance to meet the cast after the show. With enchanting songs, plenty of fun and laughter and a sprinkling of fairy dust, this is the perfect way to make literature come alive for the whole family.

So come on down to the Epstein and treat your little scholars to a half term of family entertainment they’ll never forget.
