Property services business Liberty has secured a trio of new repair and maintenance contracts worth up to £5.3m a year.
Based in Knowsley, Liberty specialises in domestic repairs and maintenance and heating and compliance services. During the final quarter of 2021 it secured nine new contracts in what was a strong period of growth for the business.
Now the company is announcing a further three deals. It has secured a £4.2m contract for one year, with an option to extend for another year, with London-based housing association L&Q.
Liberty has been appointed as one of the primary contractors to its interim reactive repairs and voids contract, covering L&Q’s East and North East regions. Works will include general maintenance to tenanted private and socially rented properties as well as work in void properties to improve their condition and energy efficiency.
Liverpool-based National housing association, The Riverside Group, has also awarded Liberty a contract worth up to £500,000 for the North West of England. It will work on Riverside properties in Liverpool, Wigan and Leigh, and the Middleton estate in Langley, Manchester. The contract is for two years with a possible two-year extension.
The final award will see Liberty work with Onward Homes, also based in Liverpool, for one year. It will deliver communal and external repairs for Contour Property Services and Onward’s leasehold portfolio as well as responsive repairs, maintenance and void works for its market rent portfolio. This contract is worth £625,000 per year.
