Property agents at Keppie Massie secure £1m sale of office building just outside Liverpool city centre that once housed a well know accountancy firm. Tony McDonough reports
A vacant office building just outside Liverpool city centre has changed hands in a £1m deal.
This three-storey property at 145 Edge Lane was formerly home to accountancy firm Wilson Henry. In existence for more than 60 years, the firm was acquired by financial advisory outfit Sedulo in 2021 and its staff relocated into the city centre.
In October 2025, property agents at Keppie Massie were instructed by an unnamed client to find a buyer for the building. Now it has been acquired by Christ Church Liverpool.
It will use the property as the head office for its community outreach and administration functions. Keppie Massie said there had been previous interest from developers in the site but also demand from businesses and community groups seeking premises.
It comprises 6,124 sq ft of office accommodation across three floors on a prominent 0.73-acre site. Tim Garnett, director at Keppie Massie, said: “This sale demonstrates the continued demand for well-located commercial property on the Edge Lane corridor.
“We received strong interest from developers, investors and, in particular, owner-occupiers, reinforcing the area’s appeal.

“By targeting the occupier market, we achieved an excellent outcome for our client while securing a purchaser who will bring the building back into active use.
“Following our recent acquisition on Boaler Street for Local Solutions, this is further evidence that demand in this location remains exceptionally strong. We are currently acting for and aware of a number of occupiers seeking premises in this area.”
