Liverpool John Lennon Airport is asking for the support of local travel agents

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) is urging travel agents across the Liverpool city region to promote its flights over those of other airports.

A number of local travel agents including Hays, Tui, Myriad Travel, Crowne Travel and Pearl King Travel have already signed up to the ‘We sell Liverpool Airport 1st’ campaign.

This commits them to promote departures from Liverpool to their customers ahead of flights from alternative airports.

LJLA’s campaign is aimed at highlighting the convenience of flying from Liverpool, particularly for local holidaymakers.

Ashley Morgan, the airport’s account manager, who works closely with local travel agents, said: “We already receive tremendous support from many local travel agents and this latest campaign is aimed at reminding others of the range of benefits for their customers when they book flights and holidays for them from LJLA.”
