Salford beerhouse operator, Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co will open its first venue in Liverpool city centre later this week.

Initially delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Seven Bro7hers will finally open its doors in Wolstenholme Square on Friday, May 27. The Parr Street venue will be the first opened by the company outside of its home town of Salford.

Seven Bro7hers was founded in 2014 by McAvoy brothers – Guy, Keith, Luke, Daniel, Nathan, Kit, and Greg. The venture was inspired by their dad’s home-brewing in their cellar at home.

The brothers currently run beer houses in Middlewood Locks, Salford and Ancoats, in Manchester. They also operate a taproom bar in the brewery. As well as beer, the Liverpool outlet will also serve food.

Keith McAvoy, chief executive of Seven Bro7hers, said: “The Liverpool site has been a long time in the making, but we believe it will be worth the wait. We have worked through a series of setbacks following the COVID-19 pandemic, so it feels like a huge achievement for the whole family to open our doors this month.

“We are very proud to show the people of this great city our brand-new space and can’t wait to kick off and be part of the Liverpool buzz.”

The brothers will be recruiting for chefs, bar staff and managers across Merseyside area. The beerhouse is also on the hunt for local suppliers for food and drink – calling for local beers, spirits, grocers, butchers, and bakers to get in touch. And they have commissioned local artist, Jazz Stan, to do a stunning mural in the beerhouse space.

Added Keith: “We have built the bar from the ground up to make sure it is integral to Seven Bro7hers house style but loyal to its city roots. It is important to us to recruit local talent in the city, and we want to work with Merseyside suppliers as we grow into this new neighbourhood.

The bar will offer indoor and outdoor sitting, with space for bookings and walk-ins from 12pm. Follow the Liverpool Beerhouse updates on Instagram – @sevenbrolpl
