Among the projects completed Umami in the last year was work that incorporated branding, photography, and marketing, including a project for nightclub Sugar Hut, made famous by its appearance on reality show TOWIE.

Edward Ridding, Founder and Head Designer of Umami, said: “2016 was one of our busiest years to date as we successfully grew our client base to include even more inspiring businesses and entrepreneurs that are now benefitting from a digital rebrand to support their ambitions. Looking ahead, 2017 is already looking to be a great year for us with several large project wins already under our belt as we look forward to securing more clients and setting another record over the next 12 months.”

Ridding setup Umami in 2011 after leaving his position as a Senior Digital Designer at Nichols plc, the company behind drinks giant Vimto.

Since the initial launch, Umami has grown its now list of clients, and were behind launches and re-brands in 2016 including marketing the Bean Coffee Group, working with Chinese restaurant Chy, and updating the image of the Hope Street eatery Death Row Diner.
