Liverpool Fashion Week brings style to the city this year
From today, Monday 13 October, Liverpool will be hosting the largest UK fashion event outside of London, dubbed ceremoniously as Liverpool Fashion Week.
The schedule begins this evening with ‘Couture Glamour’ and designers including Ngolela, She Shea and Brian Chan will exhibit this season’s collections. Later on in the week, the schedule will see new designers showcase their work, along with high street retailers, international brands and junior fashion labels.
Festival director, Amanda Moss says:
“Liverpool Fashion Week is edgy, off the wall and elegant. if you are thinking big hair, lip gloss and 4 layers of false lashes symbolic of the WAG/reality TV culture then think again. That is not what Liverpool Fashion Week is about. Our fabulous city is making its stamp on the world’s fashion stage with our eclectic and diverse collections from some of the most talented people in the industry. Liverpool is the one to watch.”
Liverpool Fashion Week is now in it’s sixth year and focuses on inclusive fashion for everyone. Tickets to the catwalk shows are priced at £10 (under-14s go free).
