Liverpool-based outdoor advertising specialist OPEN Media is set to launch its latest digital screen on July 2 in Liverpool’s main retail district.

Barratt House is located on the corner of North John Street and Lord Street and The ‘Mega Six’ commercial advertising space is the largest portrait digital screen in Liverpool.

It uses bespoke LED technology from one of Europe’s leading visual communication experts, Concept Group. 

Mike Smith, managing director of OPEN Media said: “Barratt House is the starting point of a national rollout of premium digital screens across the UK.

“Here at OPEN we pride ourselves on our ethos of quality over quantity, and are incredibly excited to announce several new exceptional locations throughout the summer. In just 12 months we have gone from a team of three to seven.

“For me, the most rewarding thing is being able to create new jobs in your home city.”

Barratt House will function as an promotional tool for companies since it is positioned to influence the attention of both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The site sits opposite the designer Liverpool ONE shopping complex which is home to more than ­­­160 retail brands. With a 2017 footfall reaching more than 29m, Liverpool One is home to not only retail merchants but cafes, restaurants and two new hotels.

Barratt House is OPEN’s second city centre digital screen, the other being in Victoria Street.
