Liverpool’s Miyagi opens Ormskirk venue

Liverpool pan-asian restaurant Miyagi has opened up its third restaurant in as many years, in Ormskirk.

Like Bold Street and Allerton Road, the new Ormskirk restaurant maintains the zen-like appearance with rich blue booths, gold trim architrave and exposed brick.

Upstairs will see the debut of the ‘Opium Den’, a ‘hideaway’ with oriental touches and statement artwork from street art duo – Cyclops Ape.

 

The menu comprises of small plates of soul food, which includes Mr. M’s famous Nori Sticky Beef Taco, Chicken Katsu and Two Timin’ Pork Ramen.

There are also six Sake varieties, including a sweet sparkling ‘Junmai’ Sake, and a selection of Japanese whiskeys.

Children are catered for, with the ‘Karate Kids Corner’ which boasts mini cinema, giant chalkboard tables and colouring books.
