Delifonseca Dockside has witnessed a sales boost in Liverpool originated produce over the festive period.

Local brands including Liverpool Gin, Vonnybee Honey, Mad Hatters and Liverpool Craft Breweries have been a popular choice amongst customers, who purchased the items as gifts and Christmas dinner accompaniments.

Proprietor Candice Fonseca said:

“Since we opened in 2006, we have steadily expanded our shelves with Liverpool sourced food and beverages. From tantalising tipple to artisan-style food, we stock a range of quality products that have been devised by local independents.

“As the popularity of these products is on the increase, we have seen a dramatic rise in sales over the festive period. In the age of the savvy shopper, it’s evident that many of our customers appreciate independent brands due to their heritage, quality and local origin.”

In addition to the festive favourites being purchased for dinner party hosting – due to many of the items being gifted wrapped and packaged in store – customers have also bought the local products as Christmas gifts for family, friends and work colleagues.
