Love is in the Georgian air
One of the city’s best known cafe bars in one of Liverpool’s most celebrated areas is enjoying raptures of affection from customers new and old this week after revealing new painted street art dedicated to Valentines Day.
The Quarter, situated in Faulkner Street in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool decided to put a new gloss on the day for lovers by creating a romantic photo opportunity for couples on the city’s streets.
The brainchild of Gary Manning, co-owner of The Quarter and well known for being one of the city’s most innovative restaurateurs, who said:
“It’s just some light-hearted fun that illuminates Valentines celebrations in a different way. It seemed a great opportunity given that we have considerable window space on a much loved street famed for al fresco style eating & drinking.
“It’s already proved a hit with customers and passers-by given the number of selfie snaps seen taken this week.”
