Liverpool charity Ronald McDonald House Alder Hey has revealed details of its annual fundraising dinner to be held this year at Liverpool FC’s famous Anfield stadium.

Ronald McDonald House, or ‘Mac House as it is known, offers free accommodation to families with sick children who are patients at Alder Hey Hospital. The independent charity must bring in £750,000 each year, and relies on fundraising and donations.

Taking place on Saturday, November 16, the ‘Mac House at the Kop’ event includes entertainment from local magician, David Burgess, and music from The Electric as well as an auction and three course dinner. There is also an opportunity to have photographs with the Champions League trophy.

Head of fundraising Kate Davis said: “We are delighted to be hosting our fundraising dinner this year at Anfield, especially during such an exciting year for the club and the city. We hope to see many of our regular supporters as well as some new faces to help us to continue the great work our charity does for the many families who stay with us.”
